Who we are
Two Italians in London.
Bevendo was founded by Emanuele and Giuseppe, but call us Manu and Peppe.
We are two Italians who grew up in the south of Italy, surrounded by fresh ingredients, local wines and a culture where hospitality is a love language. Sharing good food and drinks isn’t just for special occasions: it’s what we look forward to on weekends, celebrate milestones and welcome loved ones into our homes.
Why we started
The missing piece.
When we moved to London, we started spending our weekends exploring the city’s restaurants, markets and neighbourhoods. With the help of our local independent wine shops, we also started discovering an incredible range of wines, far beyond what we’d experienced before.
When browsing wine on quick-commerce apps, we found ourselves overwhelmed by options, but with no helping hand to make the right choice for each occasion. We partnered with Zippy, who has worked in the drinks industry for years, to bring our vision for Bevendo to life, and to be our very own helping hand in navigating the wine world.
Who it’s for
Wine lovers, not wine geeks.
Bevendo exists to replicate the experience of getting a recommendation especially for you from an expert in an independent wine shop, without compromising on the convenience of delivery within 30 minutes.
But Bevendo is for people who enjoy drinking good wine more than they enjoy geeking out. It’s for people who want the advice you get in an independent when they’re browsing online. It’s for people who know what they like, but don’t want to spend ages choosing something they will still be second-guessing.

We partner with the best independent specialist wine shops across London. Tell us where you are, and we will match you to the closest shop. Every bottle on bevendo is one that our partner wine merchants would happily recommend if you walked into their shop.
We’ve done the hard work: matching expert recommendations to different occasions. You pick, they pack, the rider pitches up.
