‍Bevendo started with two Italians, a shared obsession with great drinks and one simple idea: discovering premium beverages shouldn’t feel complicated or impersonal when done online!

We’re Emanuele and Giuseppe – friends, founders, and lifelong lovers of Italian aperitivo culture. Growing up in Italy, drinks were never just drinks. They were part of everyday life: long conversations afterwork, weekends with family, spontaneous dinners with friends and the ritual of slowing down and enjoying the moment.

When we moved to the UK we realised something was missing.

Quick commerce was already changing how people bought food and everyday essentials, but nobody was applying the same thinking to wine bottles from independent wine shops which are known to offer far better products, knowledge and curation than large retailers.

We felt there was no real alternative: no modern, curated platform focused on quality, discovery and convenience.

Our thinking was simple – if people can get food delivered quickly and effortlessly, why shouldn’t they be able to do the same with great wine?

That idea became Bevendo.

Our mission is simple: to connect people with drinks we genuinely love and believe in. Every partner we work with is carefully selected for its quality, character and the people behind it. We’re not interested in mass-market trends or generic labels; we care about producers, ingredients, heritage and experiences that feel memorable.

Bevendo is founder-led in every sense. We personally build relationships with wine shops, taste products ourselves and work closely with partners to help bring exceptional wine bottles to a wider audience across the UK.

More than anything, we want Bevendo to feel human.

Not a faceless distributor. Not another marketplace. But something built on trust, taste and genuine passion for hospitality and culture.
